I thought this might be a worthwhile thread to spark some discussion... basically, me and my gf are going to make fancy drinks tonight and it made me want to share these two kind of obscure drinks I like. The first is one I made up myself to make some OK beer great. The seccond is a real drink recipe.
1. MogLager (Lionshead lager + orange juice) // This one requires Lionshead, which I think is only a PA beer. It's your classic quantity>quality cheap party-beer. - 12oz regular Lionshead
- 3 to 5oz orange juice
Have you ever tried this? Seriously, it's amazing.
2. Sidecar (Lemon juice, brandy, tripple sec) // This is a real drink that supposedly was invented by an American army captain during WW1.
- Four parts brandy
- Two parts triple sec
- One part lemon juice
Hands down my favorite drink next to plain brandy. Careful, these will sneak up on you!
So there you have it, now what's your favorite mixed drink?

I'm not the sort for alcohol, but I do have plenty of soft drink combinations that I enjoy. Three parts limeade to one part cranberry juice is either delicious or for the brave, depending on your personal sour and bitter tolerances.

I go for Mojito, I use vodka in mine fresh lime and mint from the garden (most people prefer rum) or Dirty Martini (Gin, Vermouth, and Olive juice) with 2 olives. Otherwise i just drink water or make a smoothie occasionally ^w^

Dr. Jager
1.5oz Dr. Pepper 1.5oz Jagermeister
But in all honesty, just throw that Jager bottle in the freezer and once it gets ice cold, pour a glass and drink. Mmmmm.
